Inter-agency coalition seeks nominations for the 2010 Breakfast of Champions . . .

Children’s Champions of Pensacola is seeking nominations for individuals, businesses, youth (18 and under), professionals, and organizations located in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton Counties that have demonstrated exemplary service and advocacy on behalf of children.

 

Nominations will be accepted for the following categories: Individual, Business, Youth, Professional, and Organization. Awards will be presented at the Breakfast of Champions at the Pensacola Yacht Club, 1897 Cypress Street, in Pensacola, on Friday, April 9, 2010.

 

Nomination Guidelines

  • The purpose of these awards is to recognize individuals, businesses, youth, professional, and organizations whose service and contributions to the children in our area have been commendable.
  • Anyone may submit a nomination application. Anonymous applications will not be accepted.
  • You may submit one (1) nomination per category. Please complete a separate application for each nominee.
  • Past winners are not eligible to win again. (Click here for a List of Past Awardees)

  • Please take time to carefully complete the application. Each application should consist of no more than three (3) typed pages (including the nomination form itself) plus supplementary material. Supplementary material can include up to five (5) pages with testimonial letters, reports, and news articles that support your nomination.
  • Please email your nomination forms to officemanager@gulfcoastkidshouse.org. You will receive confirmation that your nomination was received within 2 business days.  If you do not receive confirmation you may reach Vickie at (850) 595-5800.
  • Nominations will become the property of Children's Champions and will not be returned. Decisions of the Awards Committee are final.
  • Awards recognize service rendered between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009 only.
  • The deadline for receiving nomination applications is 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 19, 2010.
  • No applications will be accepted after this time.  Forms completed incorrectly will not be accepted!
